Pathway to Progression Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in November 2024 in Michigan. We were created by a team of dedicated members who each have family members who served in the United States Military. Our mission is to assist homeless veterans with temporary-to-permanent housing, non-medical care, transportation, meal preparation, client intake, and job and career coaching.
The organization was founded in response to the rising number of veterans experiencing homelessness and a significant lack of accessible resources in our local area. Our founding members, all with personal connections to military service, took a stand to fill that gap by building practical, compassionate support directly in the community.
We are based in Michigan, USA and primarily serve veterans in the local area. To contact us directly, call 734-828-4723 or email Eric@pathtoprogression.org. Our team will respond within 24–48 hours.
Yes. Pathway to Progression Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. This means all qualifying donations made to us may be tax-deductible. Our organization began operations in November 2024.
We provide temporary-to-permanent housing support for homeless veterans. Our approach is designed to give veterans immediate shelter and stability while working with them toward a long-term, sustainable housing solution. We assist with placement, coordination, and transition support throughout the entire process.
The length of stay depends on the individual's needs, circumstances, and the availability of resources. Our goal is to move each veteran from temporary housing into a permanent, stable living situation as efficiently as possible. There is no one-size-fits-all timeline — we work with each veteran individually.
As a nonprofit serving veterans in need, our services are provided at no cost to qualifying veterans. We are funded through grants, donations, and community support. For specific details about your situation, please contact us at 734-828-4723.
We offer a comprehensive range of services for homeless veterans including: temporary-to-permanent housing, non-medical care and home care needs, transportation to and from doctor appointments, meal preparation and nutritional support, client intake and case management, and job and career coaching to help veterans regain independence.
We provide non-medical care and assistance with transportation to and from doctor appointments. We do not provide licensed medical services or treatment ourselves — but we make sure veterans can get to the medical care they need without transportation being a barrier. For medical services, we can assist with referrals to appropriate facilities.
Non-medical care refers to support with everyday living needs that are not clinical in nature. This includes assistance with daily tasks, home care support, personal hygiene assistance, companionship, mobility help, and other activities of daily living that help a veteran maintain dignity and independence in their living environment.
Our job and career coaching program helps veterans translate their military skills into civilian employment opportunities. We assist with resume building, interview preparation, identifying job opportunities, and connecting veterans with potential employers. The goal is to help veterans achieve financial independence as a foundation for long-term housing stability.
Our services are designed for homeless or housing-insecure veterans who have served in the United States Military. We prioritize individuals who are currently experiencing homelessness or are at immediate risk. To begin the intake process, contact us at Eric@pathtoprogression.org or call 734-828-4723.
While official documentation is helpful in verifying veteran status, we understand that many veterans experiencing homelessness may not have immediate access to their DD-214 or other paperwork. Please contact us directly and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to assess your situation and find the right path forward.
Our primary focus is on the veteran themselves. However, we understand that family circumstances can be complex. If you are a family member seeking help on behalf of a veteran, please reach out and we will do our best to guide you toward the appropriate resources for your specific situation.
